Work Environment\n

Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a structured yet adaptable schedule for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions tailored toward seniors, addressing key issues such as addiction, anxiety, grief, and significant life transitions.

• Educate families and caregivers about effective strategies to enhance the emotional and psychological well-being of elderly individuals, fostering supportive home environments.

• Provide grief and loss counseling to assist clients and their families during difficult times, including end-of-life considerations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients who face various emotional challenges, particularly those related to aging, addiction, and grief. This role necessitates a deep understanding of the life experiences unique to seniors, as well as the ability to engage sensitively with them and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or Clinical Psychology.

• Completion of a full-time clinical internship within a mental health setting.

• Must be license-eligible in the state of Florida.

• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster trust and rapport quickly with clients.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
