Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to address clients' needs effectively.

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying both strengths and areas necessitating intervention.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, integrating traditional and alternative approaches tailored to individual client goals.
\n
• Providing a combination of virtual counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, or groups, ensuring that support can be accessed consistently, regardless of location.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate client records, documenting therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress, in line with industry best practices and ethical standards.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic treatment approach, ensuring all aspects of the client’s well-being are addressed.

• Staying updated on current research and advancements in mental health treatments, incorporating relevant findings into your practice.

• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your counseling skills and therapeutic approaches.

• Adhering to confidentiality protocols while upholding ethical guidelines and standards of practice.

• Performing additional duties as assigned to support team goals and client care initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be primarily on patients affected by cancer, as well as those dealing with recurrence and end-of-life issues. You will provide psychosocial support throughout the continuum of care, from diagnosis through survivorship. This role involves addressing the emotional and psychological impacts of living with serious illnesses, ensuring that both patients and their caregivers receive compassionate and informative support.

Qualifications\n

• Valid Social Work License required per State Regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient mental health setting.

• Exceptional communication skills, characterized by active listening, clear information sharing, and mutual respect for team members.

• Clean history regarding Medical Malpractice Claims, verified by a Third Party.
\n
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.

• Experience in providing therapy to patients dealing with cancer or terminal illnesses is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth systems and best practices in delivering virtual care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually. Additional benefits include:
