Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop customized treatment plans that include pre-crisis strategies, risk assessments, and medication management.

• Document all client interactions and therapy sessions accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely completion of all requirements.

• Employ evidence-based screening tools to assess and monitor client progress, collaborating with clinical teams to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Work collaboratively across various programs to implement positive behavior support plans tailored to clients' unique situations.

• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.

• Serve as a liaison for clients to relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners, facilitating access to necessary resources.

• Maintain open communication with clients and community stakeholders to align services with organizational goals and standards.

• Establish partnerships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to foster new collaborations that can enhance resource availability and program reach.

• Pursue professional development opportunities, including attending conferences and industry meetings to expand your expertise and represent Mind Care Counseling Center.

• Promote the agency’s values and mission in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, ensuring the smooth operation of our mental health programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In our counseling center, we primarily serve individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues, as well as those requiring support for substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, or clients navigating the complexities of acquired brain injuries. Your role as an LMHC will be pivotal in helping these clients identify their strengths and develop coping strategies, ultimately guiding them towards greater independence and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health field is required.

• An independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is mandatory.
