Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring to gather relevant history and personal contexts.

• Deliver individual and family counseling sessions that align with each patient's unique needs, employing various therapeutic approaches as necessary.

• Maintain organized records by completing timely billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans tailored to support patients in maintaining stable mental health.

• Collaborate closely with clients to establish discharge plans that provide a roadmap for ongoing support and care beyond your services.

• Uphold all pertinent federal and state laws, as well as organizational policies and procedures, to ensure the highest standards of practice.

• Engage in professional development through continued education and training to enhance your skills and maintain licensure.

• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to discuss best practices and collaborate on complex cases.

• Complete all licensure and mandatory training requirements as established by the organization and regulatory bodies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family-related issues. Our clients come from different cultural backgrounds and age groups, requiring you to adapt your therapeutic approach to fit their unique circumstances, ensuring each individual feels understood and supported.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in New York State (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW).

• Experience in telehealth counseling is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of virtual therapy engagement dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, based on your licensure and experience.
