Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to support clients in addressing their emotional and psychological challenges.

• Encourage open dialogue around feelings and experiences, fostering a safe space for clients to express themselves.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population of clients, including adults experiencing low to moderate acuity issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and adjustment disorders. Each client is screened prior to therapy to ensure that they are well-suited for telehealth services, enhancing your ability to guide them through their recovery journey with reliance on evidence-based practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Must hold an unrestricted state license to practice independently in California as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• No limited or provisional licenses or disciplinary actions on record.
\n
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic approach to mental health care.

• Proficient in using technology for remote therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling or familiarity with online therapy platforms is advantageous. Previous roles where you have demonstrated effectiveness in client engagement and relationship building could serve you well in this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compensation for this role ranges from USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, reflecting your experience and credentials. You will also receive a sign-on bonus of $3,000 upon joining our team, alongside a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors. Regular weekly direct deposit ensures timely receipt of your earnings.
