Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments that consider each patient's medical history, physical health, and mental well-being.

• Developing and implementing personalized, integrated treatment plans that address the psychiatric and medical needs of each individual.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborating closely with medical professionals to ensure coordinated care, incorporating feedback and adjustments based on patient progress.

• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies using telecommunicative tools.

• Educating patients on the interconnectedness of mental health and physical health through tailored discussions and resources.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health disorders that may coexist with chronic medical conditions. You will play a pivotal role in helping patients understand their mental health challenges within the context of their physical health, enabling them to take an active role in their treatment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.

• A strong background in addressing the needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions and mental health issues.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trusting relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• The ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries, ensuring patient confidentiality while adhering to ethical guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits\n
