The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly residents to identify their specific psychological and emotional care needs.

• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions focusing on mental health challenges and emotional difficulties that arise during aging and life transitions.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate comprehensive care plans for geriatric residents that consider their unique medical histories and emotional needs.

• Educate family members and caregivers about effective strategies to enhance the emotional well-being and overall quality of life for their elderly loved ones.

• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families, providing support throughout the end-of-life process.

• Develop and implement cognitive stimulation programs and mental health interventions aimed at promoting mental acuity among elderly individuals.

Your primary focus will be on seniors, many of whom are facing multigenerational challenges, end-of-life issues, and significant life transitions. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Compensation and Benefits\n
