This position is designed as a remote opportunity, allowing counselors to work comfortably from their preferred location while maintaining close connections with our outpatient office in Tallahassee, Florida. Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging open dialogue and self-exploration among clients.

• Monitor progress throughout each client’s treatment plan, making necessary adjustments to ensure effective outcomes and provide ongoing support.

• Collaborate on intervention plans with a diverse team of mental health specialists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.

• Conduct follow-ups with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring their continuity of care.

• Identify and help to mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, employing evidence-based strategies to foster resilience.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with essential skills to aid clients in managing mental behavioral challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a varied clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our clientele includes seniors, adults, adolescents, and families, enabling the counselor to cultivate a broad range of therapeutic skills and enhance their professional efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required.

• Proven experience as a Mental Health Counselor or similar role, showcasing expertise in therapeutic methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal skills that reflect empathy, understanding, and an approachable demeanor.

• A master's degree in mental health counseling or a closely related discipline is preferred.
