Work Environment\n

This remote position leverages a telehealth framework that allows therapists to connect with patients across California. You will utilize secure online platforms to conduct therapy sessions, making it easier for clients to access essential mental health services in a manner that respects their comfort and convenience.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and current psychological state, ensuring appropriate therapeutic interventions are identified.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and encourage resilience, utilizing best-practice methodologies and therapeutic frameworks.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to aid patients in processing their trauma experiences, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering pathways to healing.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical staff, to ensure patients receive comprehensive and integrated care tailored to their individual needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and expertise under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them to actively participate in their healing process.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering to all relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices and skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele primarily includes individuals who have experienced a range of traumatic events, seeking support for trauma-related mental health issues. You will work with patients from diverse backgrounds, facing different challenges and recovery timelines, allowing for a rich and rewarding therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
