Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to gather crucial information regarding patients’ trauma histories and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies focusing on recovery from trauma and the development of resilience in patients.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address trauma responses.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their trauma, acquire coping mechanisms, and facilitate personal healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma-related responses and resources available for additional support and coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate record-keeping.

• Engage in case consultations, regular team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, continually enhancing your skill set to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele at Noble Counseling includes individuals who have experienced a wide range of traumatic events. This includes survivors of abuse, domestic violence, accidents, and combat, as well as individuals coping with the aftermath of complex trauma. Our goal is to create a space where each patient feels heard, supported, and empowered to heal, regardless of their specific circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is necessary.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude in all interactions.

• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is strongly preferred.

• A proven ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations, ensuring patient and team safety.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
