Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and document client histories from the initial consultation through the entire treatment process.
\n
• Utilize clinical observation and assessment techniques to evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
\n
• Design individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, as well as structured group therapy interventions to foster peer support and community healing.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment and make necessary adjustments to intervention strategies based on the outcomes observed.
\n
• Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure seamless referrals.
\n
• Engage in follow-up communications with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.
\n
• Identify and mitigate any behaviors that may hinder the recovery process, assisting clients in overcoming these challenges.
\n
• Provide support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers to foster a strong support system for clients during their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The focus is on fostering a warm and supportive relationship that empowers clients to develop insights and coping strategies essential for their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Possession of an active and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Arizona.
\n
• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrable experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing strong clinical skills and a client-focused approach.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, for efficient documentation and case management.
\n
• A solid understanding of the interplay between mental health and physical health conditions, including addiction issues.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, reflecting a genuine care for client well-being and an ability to establish a supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in telehealth settings is highly desirable, as it allows for a seamless transition to our established virtual practice.

• A background in addressing complex cases involving grief, trauma, and chronic mental health issues.
\n
• Specialization in family therapy, crisis intervention, or substance abuse counseling is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
