Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and identify appropriate treatment plans that align with their recovery goals.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the cultivation of coping strategies and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on processing trauma, fostering communication, and promoting emotional healing.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated and comprehensive approach to client health.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring that clients receive immediate support during times of trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, useful coping mechanisms, and available resources to support their journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, actively contributing to the development of trauma-informed practices within the organization.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with trauma-informed care.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders, along with familiarity with a range of trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
