Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and establish personalized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, developing adaptive coping mechanisms, and achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other clinical staff to provide an integrated approach to patient care, ensuring a coordinated treatment process.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, assuring immediate care and stabilization for patients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, potential coping strategies, and resources available to them, fostering external support systems.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Contribute to case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops, focusing on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay updated with current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment protocols continuously.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and veterans coping with PTSD. Qualifications\n

• Educational Requirement: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience working with trauma-affected populations is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
