Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team committed to trauma recovery. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on the needs of our patient population. While the convenience of remote work is paramount, we also emphasize the importance of teamwork through regular virtual meetings and consultations to support your professional journey and foster connectedness within our team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and to devise suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, drawing from evidence-based practices.
\n
• Provide therapeutic interventions that may include, but are not limited to, techniques like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients navigate their trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster healing within a supportive group atmosphere.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care tailored to each patient's needs.

• Remain accessible for crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and counseling when necessary.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available support resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and other professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.

• Keep abreast of the latest research findings and best practices in the field of trauma therapy, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, encompassing a diverse client base that includes adults struggling with PTSD, adolescents with complex trauma histories, and families navigating relational difficulties stemming from traumatic events. As a mental health therapist, you will be instrumental in supporting patients from various backgrounds, empowering them to reclaim their lives and build resilience against future challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in community mental health settings, particularly with populations impacted by trauma, is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n
