Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility and work-life balance. While the primary hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some variability in your schedule may be necessary to accommodate the needs of our patients. You will participate in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, fellow therapists, and support staff, all dedicated to delivering exceptional mental health services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and establish an understanding of their treatment needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing therapeutic techniques that foster resilience and empowerment.

• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote holistic healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to each patient's treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary and support patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Offer education to patients and their families regarding trauma responses, self-care strategies, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education sessions that focus on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance the effectiveness of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals recovering from trauma, specifically targeting patients who exhibit symptoms of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be pivotal in helping clients regain control over their lives and improve their mental well-being through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on a non-judgmental and compassionate approach.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
