Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on trauma processing, coping strategies, and emotional healing.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring patients receive immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources to enhance understanding and support.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality.

• Collaborate in case consultations and attend team meetings, contributing to ongoing professional development and enhancement of trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic techniques and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, affecting their emotional and psychological well-being. Our patient population includes adults and adolescents suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and other related disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating their healing journeys and helping them develop essential skills to cope with their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• 2 years of post-licensure experience, specifically in trauma-informed therapy, is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and an ability to adapt to various computer applications and tools.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is essential, candidates with specific experience in trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be highly regarded. Familiarity with techniques such as EMDR and TF-CBT will enhance your ability to meet our patients' diverse needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
