The Outlet Youth & Family Support Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic licensed mental health therapist to join our team. The therapist will work remotely but will occasionally engage in activities at our outpatient office located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and current mental health needs.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resiliency, and holistic well-being.
\n
• Providing therapeutic interventions rooted in evidenced-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing traumatic experiences, building coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other health professionals to coordinate integrated care for patients experiencing severe trauma-related issues.
\n
• Delivering crisis intervention services when necessary, providing immediate support during traumatic incidents.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about the nature of trauma, coping mechanisms, and resources available for further support.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in professional development and team meetings focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Staying informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance clinical effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals struggling with a wide range of trauma-related issues including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our client population varies in age and background, requiring an adaptable and empathetic approach to treatment that respects their individual life experiences and cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-informed care settings.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and demonstrated experience implementing trauma-focused therapy.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress scenarios.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with experience providing trauma-focused therapies and familiarity with systems of care for trauma survivors will be prioritized. Knowledge in utilizing measures for resilience and recovery outcomes is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
