Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and craft tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, using the latest evidence-based techniques.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in processing their experiences.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for patients to share their stories, build coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating various therapeutic methodologies as needed.

• Deliver timely crisis intervention for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support and stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources, fostering empowerment through knowledge.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of treatment processes and patient progress, aligned with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and learning from peers in an environment focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals impacted by trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with a diverse client base, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, thus promoting resilience and sustainable healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
