Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify effective treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address patients' individual needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processes of trauma processing and recovery.

• Remain attentive to patients' responses and adapt interventions dynamically to support their healing journeys.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's well-being are addressed.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients in trauma-related emergencies, employing a sensitive and calm demeanor.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, available resources, and preventive measures.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating expertise in mental health counseling.

• Proven experience conducting trauma-focused therapies and interventions with a diverse range of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
