Work Environment\n

This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients through our telehealth platform, which enhances accessibility and convenience for both therapists and clients. You will have the flexibility to manage your workspace while maintaining a structured schedule, primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While some flexibility in your schedule may be necessary to accommodate patient needs, our team ensures that work-life balance remains a priority, along with optimal therapy delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that guide the understanding of patients' trauma histories and treatment requirements.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans focused on facilitating trauma recovery and cultivating resilience in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address the unique needs of trauma survivors.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients to process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and foster personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive and integrated treatment for all our patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate patients and their family members about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the range of resources available for continued support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and improve treatment strategies based on the latest research. Engage in professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling preferred, demonstrating a solid understanding of trauma-informed care.

• Strong background in trauma-related disorders and a comprehensive knowledge of trauma-focused therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications critical to telehealth delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with specialized training in trauma-focused therapies such as EMDR and TF-CBT will be highly regarded. Experience in collaborative multidisciplinary care models is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise in mental health.
