Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, welcoming clients with care and professionalism, and documenting their mental health status through detailed evaluations.

• Design comprehensive treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions tailored to the individual needs of patients, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and supportive individual and group therapy sessions, actively promoting participation and creating a safe environment for client expression.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment, adjusting care plans as needed to address any emerging challenges effectively.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Conduct follow-ups with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for clients requiring hospitalization, maintaining an open line of communication regarding their care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and work proactively with clients and their families to implement solutions.

• Provide guidance and resources to family members and primary caregivers, helping them support their loved ones effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and various behavioral health challenges. You will also provide support for families seeking to navigate complex mental health issues, utilizing culturally competent practices to address specific needs and concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that demonstrate an ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in telehealth or remote therapy settings, with proficiency using electronic health record systems.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Knowledge of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders, is a distinct advantage.

• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their implications on therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, which may include a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
