Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, collecting in-depth information to effectively document cases from start to finish.

• Work closely with clients to assess their mental, behavioral, and emotional health, forming a deep understanding of their individual situations.

• Create and implement personalized intervention and recovery strategies that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage participation and healing.

• Monitor client progress diligently, providing ongoing adjustments to treatment plans as needed based on real-time feedback and therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare specialists, including other mental health counselors, medical professionals, social workers, and support staff, to formulate comprehensive intervention plans.

• Maintain communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding the treatment of clients who may require hospitalization or additional medical support.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery, employing proactive strategies to mitigate behaviors that may hinder patient progress.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental and behavioral challenges they may face while caring for clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.
