Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, understanding their personal history, challenges, and recovery goals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies tailored to each patient’s specific needs.

• Provide individual counseling sessions using motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral techniques to inspire change and facilitate healing.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that promote shared learning and support among participants, reinforcing a sense of community.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will support typically range from young adults to older adults who are struggling with various substance use disorders. Your role will not only focus on their treatment but will also extend to their families, ensuring comprehensive support as they navigate the recovery journey together.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PSYD in the state of Washington.

• Strong understanding of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
