Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial interviews as well as ongoing assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting progress throughout the treatment process.

• Create meticulously tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, and families, ensuring that each plan is reflective of the client's unique circumstances and needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and maintaining a warm, approachable demeanor to foster open communication.

• Regularly monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their support systems.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, which may include social workers, physicians, and nurses to formulate comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Identify and mitigate any behaviors that may impede recovery while providing guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers.

• Manage referrals effectively, ensuring smooth transitions for clients requiring additional support services, including hospitalization when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• Successful completion and passing scores on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Robust written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective client interactions and documentation.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, showcasing the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR, to document clinical findings and manage client data efficiently.

• A background in treating co-occurring disorders, as well as familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and intervention strategies.

• Understanding of best practices as established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and awareness of the implications of prescribed medications on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this full-time position is competitive, with an annual compensation of USD 80,000 to 100,000, combined with a generous sign-on bonus.
