Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' psychological and emotional needs, tailoring therapeutic approaches to their unique trauma histories.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on resilience-building and recovery, utilizing evidence-based approaches and integrating patient feedback.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, applying therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address trauma-related symptoms.

• Collaborate closely with other health professionals to co-create treatment plans that leverage their insights, ensuring holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Deliver crisis intervention and management support during trauma-related emergency situations, ensuring patients receive timely assistance.

The patients you will serve include adults and adolescents grappling with the effects of traumatic experiences, including abuse, neglect, and catastrophic events. Many clients may also be dealing with co-occurring disorders, such as anxiety and depression, seeking a counselor who brings compassion and expertise to their shared experience. Your role will be crucial in guiding these patients toward not only coping but thriving beyond their trauma.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in trauma-informed care.

• Deep knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with effective trauma-focused treatment methods.
\n
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.

• The ability to manage high-stress situations while maintaining professionalism and composure.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a variety of computer applications relevant to mental health practices.

• A collaborative spirit, willing to work as part of a dedicated health care team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in providing trauma-informed care and therapies, particularly with clients who have experienced complex trauma incidents. Additional training in EMDR and TF-CBT will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits\n
