Work Environment\n

This full-time, remote position allows you to engage with clients primarily through telehealth platforms, bringing mental health support directly to their homes. This innovative approach ensures that you can maintain a flexible work-life balance while providing essential therapeutic services. Your schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that enable a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s trauma history.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and resilience, carefully integrating patients' goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate effective healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma and develop adaptive coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, coordinating efforts for integrated treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping skills, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other legal standards, ensuring accuracy for effective care.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily consist of individuals dealing with the aftermath of acute and chronic trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health challenges. This role necessitates a deep understanding of trauma’s impact on mental health and a commitment to fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
