Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from home using our secure telehealth platform. We understand the importance of flexibility in today’s world and encourage employees to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique experiences and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring your approach to align with the cultural backgrounds and personal histories of your patients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that address various mental health concerns and aim to enhance patients' coping strategies and overall resilience.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care, sharing insights and treatment progress during case discussions.

• Provide crisis intervention support for patients encountering mental health emergencies, employing strong crisis management skills to de-escalate situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment alternatives, and available community resources to foster an informed approach to care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring accuracy in patient records and progress notes.

• Engage actively in team meetings and cultural competency training sessions to enhance service delivery and professional growth.

• Stay informed on the latest mental health research and best practices, integrating relevant findings into therapeutic methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a broad range of patients, including those from diverse and often underrepresented communities. This role will allow you to engage with clients experiencing various mental health challenges and to contribute positively to their lives through culturally competent and sensitive care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, with a focus on cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy through approaches that are inclusive and culturally responsive.

• Strong abilities in crisis intervention and management, demonstrating calmness and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with a diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in utilizing relevant computer applications.

• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and setting clear professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
