This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. You will collaborate virtually with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and clinical specialists, to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care. While most of your interactions will be through telehealth platforms, you will participate in regular team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay connected with your peers.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma history and determine suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental health improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop coping mechanisms.

• Engage in collaborative care, working closely with psychiatrists and other professionals to provide holistic treatment for your patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate acute distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and resources available to aid their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring high standards of care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities and case consultations to enhance your skills and knowledge in trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in the field of trauma therapy, ensuring your approaches are up to date and effective.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who are survivors of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, each bringing unique stories and challenges that require a sensitive and informed approach. Your expertise will assist them in navigating their healing journey and achieving better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-focused therapy or comparable environments.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-centered therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations with poise and professionalism.
\n
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively as part of a remote multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, as well as specific training or certification in trauma-focused therapies. Familiarity with software and telehealth technologies used for remote therapy sessions will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
