Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand client concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique mental health challenges.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapy.

• Offer crisis intervention support to clients in distress, ensuring safety and well-being while employing de-escalation techniques when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic medical records systems for efficient case management.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care, integrating insights from other professionals for a holistic approach.

• Participate in regular training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay current with the latest mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals facing a range of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, past trauma, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Your role is pivotal in creating a safe and trustworthy environment for clients to share their experiences and work towards healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure as a LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based counseling methods and an ability to apply them effectively in sessions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling seamless interactions with clients and colleagues.

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and cultural competence in providing mental health services.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role is preferred but not mandatory.

• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and case management is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our competitive salary range for full-time counselors is between USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer our employees a monthly healthcare stipend, ensuring that you not only thrive professionally but also maintain your health and well-being.
