Work Environment\n

This position is remote, utilizing a telehealth framework to deliver care. Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories. Utilize these assessments to determine appropriate and effective treatment paths.

  Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience. Plans should incorporate various evidence-based methodologies to suit individual patient needs.

  Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help patients navigate their trauma experiences.

  Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach, providing patients with a comprehensive therapeutic experience that addresses multiple facets of their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, loss, and significant life events. Our patient population may also include those experiencing related disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Your role will focus on providing empathetic support and fostering a therapeutic alliance that facilitates healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

  A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally within trauma-informed care settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
