Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to accurately diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, modifying care plans as necessary to respond to changes in patient status. \n
- Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans in conjunction with patients, their families, and a team of healthcare professionals, optimizing the delivery of care. \n
- Refer clients to additional community and clinical resources, including support groups, treatment programs, and psychiatric services, to enhance their overall well-being. \n
- Participate actively in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure cohesive care delivery and continuity of treatment. \n
- Monitor patient progress through regular check-ins and assessments, making timely adjustments to interventions based on successful outcomes and patient feedback. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and individual or family therapy sessions as needed, utilizing evidence-based practices. \n
- Maintain compliance with relevant state and federal regulations, as well as ethical standards set forth by the Mental Health Practice Act. \n
- Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring effective communication between patients, families, and various care team members. \n
Our diverse client population includes individuals from various backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges. As a mental health counselor, you will work with children, adults, and families who require support for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Education verification will be conducted. \n
- Current licensure in the state of New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist. \n
- Proven familiarity with community mental health resources and the ability to connect clients with appropriate external services. \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with diverse clients. \n

- Experience working with a diverse client population, particularly in community health settings. \n
- Prior experience utilizing telehealth systems and electronic health record management. \n
- Training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care. \n
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 is available for qualified candidates.
