Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history as well as mental health concerns.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions based on evidence-based practices tailored to clients' unique experiences.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprised of doctors, other therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, integrated care.

• Educate and guide clients' families on supporting their loved ones through the recovery process, fostering a holistic approach to treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Stay current with best practices and developments in addiction treatment to enhance the effectiveness of provided services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include individuals from diverse backgrounds facing various challenges associated with substance use and mental health disorders. You will work closely with clients during critical junctures in their recovery journey, developing rapport and trust as they navigate through their challenges. The goal is to equip them with coping strategies and a robust support system that allows them to build and sustain fulfilling, substance-free lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Specialized training or substantial experience in addiction counseling.
