Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility in your work-life balance while still engaging with our outpatient office’s supportive environment. You will have access to a collaborative team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to improving patient outcomes. Your schedule will primarily consist of Monday to Friday shifts, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional evening hours available depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the specific needs and objectives of individuals seeking treatment.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

• Lead one-on-one counseling sessions with patients, helping them to navigate their recovery challenges with empathy and understanding.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive community atmosphere that encourages shared experiences among participants.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists, to provide integrated care.

• Respond to crises with timely interventions, offering immediate support in substance-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction, effective recovery approaches, and available community resources.

• Ensure accurate, confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical standards to track patient progress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid California licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment strategies, and recovery-oriented practices.

• Previous experience delivering individual and group therapy within an addiction treatment setting.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating a non-judgmental and empathetic approach in all interactions.

• Demonstrated capacity to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines while ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
