Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history as well as their mental health conditions, identifying challenges and strengths.

• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health issues, tailored to each client's needs and preferences.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches that empower clients to express themselves and work through their challenges.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure integrated care, sharing insights and observations that enhance overall treatment strategies.

• Educating and engaging clients’ families to foster supportive environments during the recovery process, enhancing the client’s chances of successful long-term recovery.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records, complying with relevant healthcare regulations and standards, ensuring confidentiality and reporting requirements are met.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position will possess:
