Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work environment, allowing you flexibility while maintaining a strong commitment to quality care. You will connect with patients through telehealth platforms, enabling you to accommodate various schedules and geographic needs. While adhering to a typical Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary based on specific patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and construct tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing traumatic experiences while promoting emotional and psychological well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care approach for optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collective knowledge and improve trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on patients with trauma histories, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with a diverse client base, including individuals of different ages and backgrounds, offering personalized care that addresses their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-focused therapies is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities aimed at fostering resilience is essential.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-informed therapeutic interventions to support individuals' healing journeys.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers an annual salary range between USD 80,000 and USD 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
