Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify effective treatment pathways.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various interactive techniques to help patients process their trauma and build essential coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to manage immediate patient needs effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, provide coping strategies, and share available community resources.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education activities focusing on trauma-informed care best practices.

• Stay current with developments in trauma therapy to bring the most effective interventions to our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will serve are individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. They may be coping with PTSD, complex trauma due to prolonged exposure to distressing events, or dissociative disorders that impact their everyday functioning. You will be pivotal in assisting these individuals on their journey toward healing and resilience by offering personalized therapeutic interventions that respond effectively to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient in effective communication and interpersonal skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor when interacting with clients.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and adapt to the evolving needs of patients.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications to efficiently manage patient documentation and communication.

• A strong team player capable of collaborating within a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value diverse backgrounds and experiences in mental health treatment, particularly those involving trauma recovery. Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
