Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, utilizing a telehealth facility that promotes flexibility and accessibility. Our telehealth services enable therapists to meet patients in a convenient online setting, ensuring that quality mental health care is available to those who may have trouble accessing in-person services. While your work schedule will primarily consist of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs, allowing you to take an active role in adapting your schedule to best serve your clientele.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient's trauma history and unique needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual goals, focusing on trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy to foster healing and shared experiences among patients.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and optimal health outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a swift and compassionate response.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring thorough record-keeping of progress and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions for diverse populations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism under high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
