Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while effectively reaching out to patients across Texas. Our remote model means you will utilize telehealth technology to connect with clients, conduct assessments, and provide therapy sessions. You will have access to a variety of digital tools to facilitate your work and ensure seamless communication with colleagues in a collaborative online environment. Flexible scheduling may be required to meet patient needs, specifically between the hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive, aiming to understand each patient's unique experiences and challenges.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to individual cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances.

• Provide a range of therapeutic services including individual, family, and group therapy, addressing various mental health concerns and promoting resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options available, and community resources to foster understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to further enhance your skills.

• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population that includes ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. Each patient presents unique mental health challenges arising from different cultural contexts, requiring you to employ culturally competent approaches and interventions. Your role will be pivotal in providing support and fostering trust within these communities, ultimately contributing to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this role.

• Currently holds an active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling with a culturally informed perspective.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
