Work Environment\n

This role operates entirely through a telehealth platform, enabling you to provide services to patients from the comfort of your own space while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule. The work hours typically span Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate individual patients’ trauma narratives and identify suitable treatment pathways.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that are focused on each patient's unique journey towards trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Provide consistent follow-up support, facilitating sessions that encourage patients to process traumatic experiences and develop healthy coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure holistic care for all patients.

• Assist patients in crisis situations, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate both patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with resources for their mental health journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Possession of a current and valid professional license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and therapeutic modalities aimed at helping clients rebuild their lives.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capacity to stay composed and effective in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of clinical experience is the threshold, we prefer candidates who have extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and have actively utilized trauma-focused therapies. Experience in a telehealth setting, along with continuous engagement in professional development activities, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
