This full-time position focuses on delivering evidence-based mental health care to clients struggling with various psychological challenges from the comfort of their own homes.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. Our telehealth platform enables therapists to connect with clients via secure video conferencing technology, ensuring safe and effective delivery of mental health services. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates closely to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of each patient, crafting personalized treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups to address common mental health concerns, promoting community and support among clients.

• Coordinate with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, equipping clients with coping strategies and resources.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring all patient records are up to date and accurate.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in case consultations and team meetings to continually enhance your clinical competencies.

• Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in mental health therapy to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele at Sunshine Counseling Center includes individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. Our therapists will work with patients experiencing various mental health challenges, aiming to destigmatize mental health issues and promote open and supportive dialogue. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and demonstrated proficiency in a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional skills in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapy to diverse populations in individual or group settings.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members effectively.

• Demonstrated ethical decision-making and strong judgment in maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications common in telehealth environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
