Our work hours are structured to provide consistency, operating from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health, focusing on mood disorder symptoms, including their intensity, duration, and frequency.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, which reflect their specific treatment goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, effective treatment strategies, and self-care methods to foster recovery.

• Monitor clients’ progress, adapting treatment plans as needed based on their evolving mental health status.

• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's care.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and session notes per legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance collaborative practice and continue professional development.

• Advocate for clients’ needs, helping to eliminate stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will work closely with clients of various ages and backgrounds, employing empathy and understanding to build trust and rapport, allowing for more effective therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Expertise in therapeutic modalities including CBT and DBT that are effective for treating mood disorders.

• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and the capability to collaborate with psychiatrists for comprehensive patient care.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for fostering meaningful client relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of directly related experience is required, candidates with a proven track record in successfully treating mood disorders and a commitment to continuous improvement in clinical skills will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits\n
