Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and current mental health needs.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans aiming at promoting trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, specifically Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the needs of each client.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and foster healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for all patients.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and family members about trauma responses, practical coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Commit to staying informed of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, with particular attention to those exhibiting symptoms of PTSD and other related disorders. You will play a crucial role in creating an environment where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to begin or continue their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach toward clients.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable working with various computer applications.
\n
• A commitment to collaborative practice and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of trauma-focused therapies as essential qualifications for this role. Experience with evidence-based therapeutic interventions and crisis management will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
