Work Environment\nThis full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while ensuring you meet the needs of our clients effectively. Our typical operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some variability may be needed based on patient availability and urgent care requirements. This dynamic setting provides the autonomy to manage your workload while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and outline suitable treatment plans. \n
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based interventions. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). \n
- Engage in crisis intervention strategies, providing immediate support during trauma-related episodes or emergencies. \n
- Foster a collaborative relationship with psychiatrists and fellow therapists to ensure comprehensive care is provided to our patients. \n
- Maintain diligent and accurate documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times. \n
- Participate in ongoing case consultations, training, and professional development initiatives to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care. \n
- Stay abreast of new therapeutic practices and emerging research in the field of trauma therapy to deliver the most effective care to your patients. \n
Our therapy services specifically target individuals affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be working with a diverse client population, which may include adults, adolescents, and families seeking support in navigating the complexities of their trauma landscapes. Your empathetic approach will help guide them toward recovery and empowerment.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably involving trauma-focused therapies and interventions. \n
- Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment practices. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate trust and rapport with clients, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor. \n
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications. \n
