Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and confidential assessments to fully understand clients’ mental health challenges, which includes formulating clinical diagnoses and crafting tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy, employing a range of evidence-based modalities that are adapted to clients’ specific experiences and therapeutic goals.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in acute situations, ensuring timely and effective support during critical moments.

• Maintain detailed and secure client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments, adhering to the highest ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and behavioral specialists, to facilitate holistic care for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health concerns, treatment options, and available resources, while actively advocating for clients’ rights and access to necessary services.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest best practices in mental health therapy through training, workshops, and further education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups from various backgrounds. You will engage with clients experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship conflicts. Your approach will be tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered to take positive steps toward their mental health recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
