Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the unique needs of each child and adolescent client, utilizing both standardized tools and clinical judgment.

• Develop and oversee tailored treatment plans that are respectful of each patient's developmental stage, personal history, and family dynamics.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions, equipping families with the skills and strategies they need to support their children's mental health.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists to ensure coordinated care, participating in multidisciplinary team discussions to optimize therapeutic strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health topics, fostering a better understanding of treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems, adhering to all legal and ethical obligations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with mental health disorders affecting children and adolescents, along with a deep understanding of therapeutic modalities.

• Experience in delivering both individual and family therapy tailored for young individuals.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity to connect with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology.

• A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
