Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your own home, while also engaging with clients in our outpatient office setting as needed. Our remote work model is designed to support flexibility, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and challenges of each child or adolescent.

• Collaborate with families to create individualized treatment plans that consider the developmental stage and family dynamics of the patient.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the diverse mental health concerns our young clients may face, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at strengthening family relationships and instilling effective communication strategies.
\n
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure a continuum of care that is both effective and compassionate.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support to patients and families in urgent situations.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, actively contributing insights and learning from fellow professionals.
\n
• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. This role requires a profound understanding of child psychology and the capacity to engage effectively with both young patients and their families to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health issues, including proficiency in evidence-based treatment strategies.
\n
• Demonstrable experience in delivering therapy to children and their families, including both individual and family therapy approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine compassion for children and their developmental needs.
\n
• Strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients, enabling a safe space for emotional exploration and growth.
\n
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools effectively.
\n
• Ability to collaborate optimally in a team-based setting, contributing to a cohesive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in child and adolescent mental health environments.

• Familiarity with diverse therapeutic practices and methodologies applicable to younger populations.

• Experience in working within an outpatient office setting will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
