Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and families, ensuring personalized care and support tailored to individual needs.

• Provide both individual and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions, addressing a range of mental health challenges.

• Manage all administrative responsibilities, including billing, documentation, creating individualized treatment plans, and submitting insurance authorization forms within established timeframes.

• Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to help patients maintain stability and function effectively in their daily lives.

• Formulate and implement discharge plans, facilitating a smooth transition for patients as they progress in their treatment journey.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state laws, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, to uphold the highest standards of care.

• Commit to continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and relevant continuing education opportunities.
\n
• Engage in collaborative case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights with colleagues.
\n
• Complete all required licensure and mandatory training to maintain your professional credentials.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients in a community health clinic setting, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure is required.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Texas is essential.
