Work Environment\n

This position is a remote telehealth role, which allows you the flexibility to engage with clients from the comfort of your home or any environment that suits your needs. Your schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although occasional evening shifts may be necessary based on patient demands. As part of a telehealth team, you will utilize state-of-the-art technology to facilitate seamless communication and therapy sessions with your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs and challenges of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are sensitive to the unique developmental stages of young patients, ensuring that family dynamics are considered.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), aimed at addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate comprehensive and integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention services to families during emergencies or critical mental health situations involving children and adolescents.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of all client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and attend ongoing professional training to stay abreast of the latest research and mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will focus primarily on providing mental health care to children and adolescents facing a wide spectrum of disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral problems. This role emphasizes not only treating individual patients but also involving families in the treatment process, thus fostering a more integrated approach to mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, with a preference for those having direct experience working with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and child development.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a sincere approach to fostering rapport and trust with patients and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
