Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to understand the specific needs and challenges faced by each child or adolescent.

• Deliver tailored therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and support resources.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and relevant community resources to enhance understanding and care.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a diverse demographic of children and adolescents, typically ranging from ages 5 to 18, who present with a variety of psychological conditions. You will be instrumental in addressing mental health concerns rooted in family dynamics, social settings, and individual developmental aspects. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, including evidence-based treatments and therapeutic methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and family therapy, particularly in a clinical setting working with young individuals.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a genuine warmth and child-centered approach to therapy.

• Capability to develop rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families, facilitating effective therapeutic relationships.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and adeptness at utilizing technology in clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
