Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and guide treatment planning.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building for diverse patient backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the specific needs of each patient.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, equip them with coping strategies, and support their healing journey.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and create supportive environments during trauma-related emergencies.

• Conduct educational sessions for patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that adheres to legal, ethical, and organizational standards, contributing to quality care and compliance.

• Engage in case consultations and participate effectively in team meetings focused on continually enhancing our trauma-informed care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to survivors of physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, veterans coping with PTSD, and individuals with complex trauma histories. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require sensitivity and adaptability in order to provide tailored therapeutic interventions that resonate with their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficient experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications, facilitating efficient management of patient records and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, ideally working with trauma survivors.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
